The overall scope of this internship is to create a Radiation Hardness Assurance plan for the Lunar Zebro rover including a first assessment of the existing architecture and a radiation test plan. During this internship, there are certain tasks that involve (but are not limited to):<\/div>\n
1) Familiarise with the Lunar Zebro Project<\/div>\n
2) Familiarise with space systems engineering and space testing procedures (like ECSS-E-10-<\/div>\n
03A)<\/div>\n
3) Research into standards on Radiation Hardness Assurance (RHA) (like ECSS-Q-ST-60-15C)<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0– Research on different radiation levels and applied technology \/ components \/electronics<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0– Assessment of the Lunar Zebro avionics design on radiation<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0– Create radiation test plan in accordance to ECSS-E-10-03A section 4.1.2 which shall:<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 i.\u00a0 \u00a0describe and sequence the test procedure<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 ii.\u00a0 State the objectives and the scope of the tests<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 iii. Specify the test facilities<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 iv. Govern the execution of all the tests<\/div>\n
